Breakfast was a plentiful affair ,well presented and a full selection to satisfy everyone. I dined one evening in the PMW restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful of my meal. The staff in all areas also deserve a special mention who were all extremely friendly and professional

Desayuno muy completo. Pudimos cenar dos noches en el restaurante y los platos estaban muy ricos, elaborados con productos de granjas cercanas. El personal fue muy atento. Durante la estancia decidimos alargar una noche más y a pesar de tener todas las reservas completas, nos buscaron una habitación. Además, tuvimos que recibir por correo los tests de covid obligatorios y estuvieron muy pendientes. El entorno es precioso y Durham, a 10 minutos, una ciudad bellisima. El hotel-pub cuenta con aparcamiento gratuito.

La localización, el hotel es muy céntrico si visitas Durham, la disposición de la habitación y el mobiliario está bastante bien, diseño elegante y funcional, la cama muy cómoda, buen colchón y climatitzación adecuada. Loved the rooms here, I have stayed many times from standard rooms right up to the celebration suite. They are all fantastic value for money been very spacious, clean, work friendly, quite and super comfortable. This stay was in the premier deluxe and to our delight a tub for 2! Room was massive bathroom too cant wait to be back!

This is the second time I have stayed at Newlands Lodges and would return for a 3rd. The lodges are in a beautiful tranquil setting. The views are incredible. Having stayed in both summer and autumn both are equally beautiful. The lodge just has a lovely feel to it. The decor is tasteful. The beds are extremely comfortable and its the perfect place to escape for the weekend with family or friends.
