The hotel facilities & cleanliness. Value for money.
Kluang is my hometown. I was visiting friends & family.
Kluang is my hometown. I was visiting friends & family. I ate in numerous Food Courts . I had family providing transport for me. I would stay in another hotel for my next trip. My favourite places were the Coffee Shops, the old town and the Tamans. The Old buildings have sodium lights illuminating them at night, but they seem to have 'over-done' the lights. Less lights would have been better. It's a pity that the Diamond Jubilee Hall is still missing a Clock in it's tower even after 57+ years. Have the residents & the local council of Kluang simply over-looked this rather embarrassing situation?

City was a bit under developed.
City was a bit under developed. Places wasn't clean in some canal areas. People here were very friendly though. Met a group of very kind people along the way. Food in some restaurants and coffee shop were good. Beverages needs to improve. Gunung Lambak was a bit eerie especially during raining seasons! Not very walkable and certain areas looked dangerous. Slippery especially during raining. Slope was a bit high. Bridge seems to be about rundown. Nice massage places in kluang with nice people. More healthy food could be discover here in Kluang. Some places sell unhealthy food and beverages.

I love their coffee. Coffee lovers can try some of the best. Mine is the Kluang Railways’ and tried first hand at the Kluang Railway cafe located at the town Railway Station. And also should try the famous brand - The Television. The town of Kluang offer a variety of local foods like famous Laksa Johor, Mee Rebus Muar, Nasi Beraini Gam, Halal Nasi daun pisang, Chaw KueTiaw and many more attractive views.

A small laid back town with friendly people.
A small laid back town with friendly people. Facilities and attractions are mostly within walking distance. Food was good too.
I like the coffee place at the train station. Did not have enough time to go look at the wall murals, saw it during my last trip, will recommend it as well.

It's a must to visit the Kluang Railway Coffee right at the railway station whenever in Kluang.Nothing beats the ambience and the originality of having a cup of coffee and roti bakar at the original outlet.

Kluang is a place I used to spend all my school holidays when I was growing up. The town has definitely changed a lot since those days.
Town centre is very quiet at night but I felt safe walking around a bit. Unfortunately, there is nothing to see.
Ate opposite the hotel - The Loading Bay is rather good!
Worst case scenario: Pizza Hut is next door and KFC is opposite! McDonald's is a short walk away.
The street murals are nice but not 'local' enough. Maybe more are being planned. Muar has better murals, as do Ipoh and Penang.
Check in was swift as hotel was not very populated as heard from locals due to old age. Rooms appear decently kept with rather large size room. Small cockroaches were spotted. Room lighting was very poor. Hotel breakfast lasts only 2 hours. Arriving in the second half resulted in only rice and noodles being available with eggs made to order(half-boiled). No bread, no meat, no vegetable were available once food has been consumed by other guests.
Booked a double standard room. The room size is good. This hotel provides bedroom slippers, toothpaste, brush and 2 bottles of water. There is a boiler but need to refill water at Level 1 lobby. There is a free parking opposite the hotel which is a vacant land, some maybe be conern of vehicle theft as the place is unmanned. Spent 1 night only.
what i really like about the hotel is its location - very near to 24 hrs McD, Family Mart, 7e. it is in the heart of kluang town. they provided ample parking lot, the staff are nice, the room is very spacious with balcony and bath tub. our car broke down and needed to check in a day late. the hotel was very understandable, deduct our rate fairly.

The hotel staffs were polite and helpful when attending to the needs of the guest. The plus point is that the hotel has elevator option for families with elderly and children.
The location and facilities were great and also delicious variety of food was easy to find nearby the hotel. The best thing I like was Talula Hill Farm which was recommended by the friendly hotel receptionist as a tourist attraction.
Great location, away from the hustle and bustle. Beautifully overlooking Gunung Lambak. It's an old hotel, so you will need to be flexible with your expectations. With that being said, it's a great value for money
